Your color analysis appointment, step-by-step:
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face (no tinted sunscreen or moisturizer, no lipstick or a spray tan). It is best to leave your earrings and necklaces at home too.
Jill details the principles of color analysis and what to look for as you watch yourself in the mirror during the 70-color draping process. It works best if you wear a plain, light color shirt without a collar. You will see in real time exactly how each color affects your complexion—either giving you a glow or a washed out appearance.
From the 12 “seasons” of colors, your specific palette that will naturally enhance your features will be revealed, along with your unique very best colors.
Once your season is identified, Jill explains what to look for in your jewelry, nail polish, makeup and hair color. Your undertone, contrast level, and dominant features will be explained so that you are completely understanding WHY these are your colors.
In order to arm you with a guide to begin your closet curation, you will receive a PDF with all the information discussed during the appointment so that you can refer to it. You will also leave with a color card to give you a clear “match” of your palette to your clothes.
Allow at least 90 minutes for this appointment.

To ensure the most accurate and personalized experience, please attend your appointment alone, unless each person has scheduled an appointment back to back. If there is a special circumstance though, please reach out so we can discuss it.
Unfortunately, young children are not permitted in the color or style analysis appointments.
It is recommended that 14 be the youngest age for color analysis, and contrary to the appointments being solo, all minors must be accompanied by an adult for color and style analysis; the adult does not need to have an appointment to attend.

Color analysis is a great tool for men to get the most from their wardrobe and also look their best. Men’s clothing is generally even more expensive than women’s, so making the right color choices, plus understanding contrast level and metals for jewelry and watches, is very beneficial.
-
During your analysis, you will see the colors that naturally enhance your features and make you look more vibrant and refreshed. Sometimes, you may find you love a color, but the color does not love you. Color analysis is not all or nothing—it is a guide to help you look your best and simplify your wardrobe, and you may grow to love your colors as you receive compliments and notice your glow.
